AC Portland is poised to do fantastic things because of the fast-growing list of partner organizations, shaping what each is already doing to support our goals and reach kids and communities in a more powerful way. adidas America and the Portland Timbers began working with America SCORES and the U.S. Soccer Foundation and a vision for Portland several years ago. In association with the Oregon Sports Authority Foundation and now energized by the Timbers Army and the 107IST, AC Portland is ready to roll. At the neighborhood level, AC Portland and Advantage Centers will operate in conjunction with the excellent after-school network that currently exist in the Portland metro area. This approach is cost-effective and will help establish long-term sustainability for the program.
